The app

PCRescue Kit does not collect data about you or your computer.

• No telemetry. No usage tracking. No crash reports sent anywhere.
• No account.
• It never connects to the internet on its own. Some fixes test or repair your internet connection, and only when you press them.
• The license check happens on your computer, offline. Your key is never sent to me.

What the Kit learns about your computer stays on your computer. The My Computer page has a Copy details button. That only copies text to your clipboard. Nothing is sent unless you paste it into an email yourself.

When you buy a license

• Payment goes through Stripe. Stripe handles your card. I never see your card number.
• Your name and email come to me from Stripe. I use them to create your license key and email it to you. Your name appears in the app as "Licensed to."
• The key email is sent through Resend, an email delivery service.

I keep your name, email and purchase record to support you and handle refunds. I don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone else.

This website

• The site runs on Ghost(Pro). Ghost may log basic visit information, like any web host.
• If you sign up for email updates, Ghost stores your email address so I can send them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Downloads are served through Cloudflare, which logs basic request information like any web host.
• I don't run advertising trackers on this site.

Your choices

Email support@pcrescuelabs.com to see, correct or delete what I have about you. Deleting your purchase record means I can't help you recover your license key later.

If this changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
